WHO AM I AND WHAT IS MY STORY
My name is Barbara, and ever since I was little, I’ve been an eager explorer in this vast, endless labyrinth of life given to me here. In life, I have experienced many things, met many people, walked many paths, traveled to different places, and visited many other lands beyond Slovenian borders. Always, as far back as I can remember, I’ve been interested in everything that exists here and elsewhere, known and unknown, and everything that may not yet exist and is hidden from many in the universe of existence.
In short – I could say that I was always interested in everything that exists, and on the other hand, everything that is hidden from our eyes, yet still exists somewhere. I always believed, and still believe today, that absolutely everything is possible.
Even as a little girl, I told my mom I would save the world, and that one day, when I grew up, I would go into space to see what was out there. Her answer was often: “Barbara, you know you can’t save the world,” and again my answer was: “Yes, but I will.” What I said and believed then, I still believe today, with the only difference being that today I know that if I help someone every day in any way to solve their challenges, it is more than just saving the whole world, because by doing so, I have saved that individual’s world, and that is what drives me forward, never to give up.
There were many nights when I stared at the sky, watched the stars, and always wondered – What is there? Who is there? What exists out there somewhere far away? I knew then, and I know today, that we were never and will never be alone. From a little girl onwards, my biggest question, which I always asked myself, was – “WHO AM I?” followed by questions, “Why am I here?” “What is my purpose here and what is my contribution to this world?” “What is my task?” I have been asking myself all these questions and many others for the past 36 years. I never truly felt that I belonged in this world. I always said that I was not of this world. No one ever truly understood me, and so I always withdrew from society. To many, I was and still am “Strange, different, exceptional,” and everything else. Today I know that I have always been exactly like this, and many do not accept me as I truly am, because my light is too strong for them.
Today I have answers to many questions I asked myself in the past, and one of the main answers is that I KNOW WHO I AM – I am more than just this body and this name. Today, because I never gave up or surrendered, but instead always followed and trusted myself and my intuition deep within, I know and realize that all power is within me, because I am the one who creates my reality as long as I am present in this world. So once again, my name doesn’t matter, nor my body, nor what others think of me, nor what the whole world thinks of me; what matters is only that I know who I am, and that is enough.
It is also important that in this world, amidst all this game, I remain real, connected to myself, and truly always follow myself and my inner voice of consciousness, my inner light, which is eternal light, and I never, truly never give up. I also realize that everything I experience, explore, and remember, from all that I already know within myself, I gladly and selflessly share with others, reminding them who they are and, when necessary, offering them my hand on their journey of self-discovery, sometimes a walk through the forest or just a short rest on a bench in the park with a pleasant chat, to remind them that it is only important to follow themselves without fear, never give up, and that their path is always somewhere, and that it is important for them to find it themselves and remember that they are never truly alone.
So, I am the one who extends my hand to those who are lost on their path and are still searching for themselves – this is my “mission” and this is ME.
